• PC should be connected to a monitoring port (transmit/receive enabled for DNS resolution) where it can monitor all outbound and inbound traffic, the same port you would connect an IDS (intrusion detection system) or Snifferr network analyzer.
• Congruity Inspector can be configured to monitor DMZ, Proxy or SMTP email traffic providing a full accounting of all activity/usage entering and leaving a multi-segmented, heavily partitioned or distributed network.
• Congruity Inspector is designed to be operated a regular periodic basis. Though it can be used to assess the quality of systems on a weekly basis, the most benefit and value is realized when managers and stakeholders review ALL the data and use it to proactively plan and manage more efficiently. For example, after implementing new policies and technology controls, management should run an NQA assessment some weeks later to verify that actual performance meets their expectations and standards.
